Klasen Barbara Ann Lein and Glenn Allen Klasen lighted the traditional wedding candle to their favorite song. "Colour My World," in a candlelight service Aprif 24 at 7 p.m. in the First Congregational Church of Crystal Lake. The Rev. Arnold Schaper performed the double ring ceremony which united in marriage the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin A. Lein of 25 N. Heather Dr., Crystal Lake, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Klasen of 4907 E. Rose St.. Crystal Lake. The music was provided by Barbara Thorsen, organist, and Richard Thorsen, soloist. Ivory, yellow and lavender Fuji mums and deep purple baby's-breath baby's-breath baby's-breath decorated the church for the occasion. These flowers Were repeated at the altar, on the candelabra and on the aisle tapers. Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose a gown of ivory lawn. A Queen Anne collar framed the slit neckline, and the front bodice and wide, fitted cuffs were accented in ivory alencon lace. A camelot headpiece of ' ivory lace held her double tiered elbow length veil edged in a delicate chantilly lace. She carried a cascade of ivory mums accented with purple baby's-breaUi. baby's-breaUi. baby's-breaUi. Dorothy Calvin was the maid of honor. Judy BerquisL 12-year-old 12-year-old 12-year-old 12-year-old 12-year-old niece of the bride, was the junior bridesmaid. They were attired in lavender gowns of lawn accented at the bodice and bottom ruffle with ivory lace. They carried cascades of yellow and purple Fuji mums. Tom Klasen, brother of the groom, served as best man. The couple's brothers, Melvin Lein Jr. and Donald Klasen Jr., ushered, and Dale Klasen, brother of the groom, was a junior groomsman. A champagne dinner was served afterward to 40 guests at Martinetti's Restaurant. Mrs. Pat Looper, sister of the groom, circulated the guest book and honored guests were Mr. and Mrs. Charles McKenna of Crystal Lake, grandparentsNU the bride. The newlyweds traveled to Disney-World Disney-World Disney-World in Florida for their wedding trip and are now residing in Crystal Lake. They both graduated from Crystal Lake High School. The bride formerly worked for Crane Packing Co. and the groom is employed by Mathews Co. in Crystal Lake.
